Hello everyone,

I’m writing this with a heavy heart, something I never imagined I’d have to do. I’ve recently come out of an abusive marriage and am now trying to rebuild my life for the sake of my children. Unfortunately, I lost my job very unexpectedly, and everything has started to fall apart financially.

I’m struggling to keep up with basic bills like utilities, and I’m terrified of losing our only vehicle because I can’t make the payment. My son’s 10th birthday is coming up on December 22, and Christmas is right around the corner, but I can’t even begin to think about gifts when I’m not able to pay for our necessities.

I’ve always prided myself on being independent, and it’s incredibly difficult for me to ask for help, but I have no one else to turn to, and I’m desperate. I don’t want to let my kids down, especially during a time that should be filled with joy.

Any help at all, no matter how small, would mean the world to us right now. I’m ashamed to be in this position, but I’m asking from the bottom of my heart.
